Arrival Dates
The arrival date that you see in your Camp Canada portal is the date on which your camp would like you to arrive in Canada. Please read your onward travel information very carefully. For some camps, the arrival date and times are very important because you will be picked up directly from the airport. We always recommend landing as early in the day as possible.
If you are being picked up at the airport but you want to spend some time in the city before camp, you are permitted to fly in early and book your own accommodations.
Please click HERE to learn more about that process. If your camp has indicated that a bus will be picking you up from the airport on a specific date, but you choose to arrive at an earlier date - it is your responsibility to make your way back to the airport on the date and time they have indicated ready for the scheduled pick up. The bus will NOT stop for pick up anywhere other than the airport unless otherwise stated by your camp.
If your camp does not pick up from the airport and provides transportation to camp the day after your arrival date, that means you are responsible for organizing your accommodation for the night between arriving in Canada and traveling to camp. As camp grows nearer, please refer to your onward travel instructions for hostel recommendations and discount codes. Again, you are welcome to arrive early and sightsee but you have to make sure that you are in Canada by the arrival date at the latest and that you can get yourself to the pick up point for your bus to camp.
End Date:
Your end date is the day that your contract ends and you will leave camp. We recommend staying in the city nearest to your camp on the night that your contract ends and booking your flight for the next morning (unless you plan to stay and travel). For hostel information, click here.
