You’ve made a big decision — heading across the world to work at camp this summer. It’s exciting, it’s a job, and it’s a major step in growing your independence.
Learning how to cope with stressful and challenging scenarios will allow you to learn about yourself and push your limits on what you think you can or can’t do.
This doesn’t mean you’re without support; you still have high-quality, in-person, and experienced resources available to you 24/7. These include:
- The Camp Canada Wellbeing Team
- Your camp director
- Senior staff at your camp
- Fellow international staff members
We’ve put together a guide for your parent, guardian or supporter (whoever’s cheering you on from home) to help them understand what to expect and how to support you while you're away.
