Supporting Documents for the Online Work Permit Application (outside of Canada): Proof of Fee Exemption (if applicable)

*NOTE - If you are a Mexican Citizen and have been given instructions by Camp Canada to apply for your work permit online, you will find more information on one of the supporting documents that you will need to upload and submit with your online work permit application to IRCC below:

Proof of Fee Exemption (if applicable):

This will only be a required document IF you are fee-exempt and you selected this in the Eligibility Questionnaire that you completed before starting your online work permit application.  If applicable, you can find this file in the ‘Documents’ section of your Camp Canada account, under ‘Downloads’. It is titled ‘Camp Name - Fee Exemption’.

How do I know if I am Fee-Exempt?

Go to the ‘Documents’ section of your Camp Canada account. If there is a document titled ‘Camp Name - Fee Exemption’ under ‘Downloads’ then you are fee-exempt and do not need to pay the fees associated with the online work permit application.

If you do not have this document in your Camp Canada account, then this means that you are not fee-exempt and you will be responsible for paying the fees associated with the online work permit application.

What if I answered the Fee-Exemption question incorrectly in the Eligibility Questionnaire?

If you selected that you are exempt from paying fees for this application by mistake in the Eligibility Questionnaire, then you must re-do the Questionnaire and start your application over from scratch.

If you have been given instructions by Camp Canada to apply for your work permit application online, please refer to your "Application Guide" in the 'Documents' section of your Camp Canada account for more instructions on how to complete the Eligibility Questionnaire.
