Help CenterYou must provide a bank statement, issued within 1 week of your departure, showing at least CAN$2,500 (or its equivalent in your local currency) to support yourself for the first 3 months in Canada. An immigration officer may ask you to present this at the Canadian border when you are receiving your IEC.
We recommend that you print a copy of your proof of funds bank statement and carry this with you in your hand luggage.
