Can I apply to be part of the Direct Placement program?
No, since you’ve already secured a job at camp on your own, the camp will enroll you in our Camp Canada portal. Once enrolled, you’ll receive an email invitation with instructions to begin your application process.
Do I need to be from a particular country to use your work permit support?
Yes, we only work with visa-exempt countries. You must be a citizen from one of following countries:
Is my role at camp eligible for the work permit?
Your primary role must involve working directly with campers. While you may have some other duties at camp (i.e., office or healthcare) these duties cannot constitute the majority of your responsibility.
My passport is due to expire, do I need to renew it?
Your passport must be valid for the length of your planned stay.
If you’re travelling through another country on your way to or from Canada, check the entry requirements for that country. Many countries will only allow entry if you have at least 6 months validity remaining on your passport.
