Insurance - Direct Placement

We strongly recommend you have health insurance for your time in Canada as healthcare can be expensive.

As a Direct Placement, insurance is not covered by Camp Canada as part of the program, however, you can purchase health insurance through our partner link in your Camp Canada portal.

How do I activate my Insurance with your Partner?

You must activate your insurance before you depart for Canada. To activate your insurance follow Camp Canada instructions in the 'Health Insurance' section.

Important: Complete these steps on the PC/Laptop, this will be difficult on a mobile device.

All the details on your insurance policy, coverage and upgrades can be found through StudyInsured portal. You must complete these steps to register your account:

  1. Create an eSecutive account using the policy number (this can be found in your Camp Canada portal), along with your Date of Birth and Full Name.
  2. Register for StudyInsured to review your policy documents and services.
What does my policy cover?

You can view your policy coverage on the StudyInsured website. You'll be able to view the policy in your language preference.

How do I make a claim?

You will need to login to your StudyInsured account and select 'Submit a Claim'. You will need to submit additional documents like:

  • Receipts/Invoices
Will I be covered if I am under the influence of drugs, alcohol or other intoxicants?

No, you can view 'Section IV - Exclusions, (5)' for full details.
